A hut in the northern mountains of the planet Dantooine was the residence of the male Bothan master armorsmith Mol Ni'mai. It was circular in shape and made of stone with a rounded doorway. An abandoned Rebel base on the planet was within visual range of the hut. At the height of the Galactic Civil War in 1.5 ABY, a spacer and fellow armorsmith visited Ni'mai's mountaintop home, hoping to learn the secret to creating the Bothan's greatest invention, the Reinforced Insulated Sheath armor. Ni'mai was initially skeptical of the spacer's armor crafting abilities, but after a payment of 50,000 credits he instructed the spacer on how to construct the armor.

Behind the scenesEdit

Mol Ni'mai's hut appears as an explorable location in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. It, along with its inhabitant Mol Ni'mai, were added to the game as part of the Publish 4 game update on November 13, 2003. A player of the Munitions Trader profession, which includes the ability to craft armor, may visit this location and take on a quest from Ni'mai that will teach them to create the Reinforced Insulated Sheath armor.
