The Mon Calamari Rangers were a resistance organization active on Dac in 137 ABY. The Rangers' goal was the protection of Mon Calamari refugees and opposing the Genocide of their people that began with the Massacre of New Coral City.

Before Admiral Stazi's capture of the Imperious, the Mon Calamari Council took precautions in case that they would suffer for the ship's theft. However, their preparations were cut short when Darth Krayt, Dark Lord of the Sith and Galactic Emperor, ordered the extermination of 10% of the planet's population as an example to the rest of the galaxy.

Joined up with Imperial Knight Treis Sinde, the Mon Calamari Rangers sought to protect their people until the Empire could be driven off planet.
