Mon Calamarian, sometimes referred to as Mon Calamari or Mon Cal, was the official language of the Mon Calamari species. Mon Calamaris, however, learned to speak both Mon Calamarian and Basic since they were a part of the galactic community.[1]
Many also learned to speak Quarrenese. Similarly, Mon Calamari was learned by many Quarren.[1]
