Morp droids were a series of small seeker droids that were developed by the Dark Jedi Asajj Ventress. They were named after the morp species of Dagobah.
Morp droids resembled six legged beetles and they were equipped with a repulsorlift which allowed them navigate their environmental. What made the droids dangerous was the powerful electrical charges they could unleash on living flesh. A problem with the droids' power source caused an electrical blue aura to form around them when they were searching for their targets. The aura made them much easier to locate.
Asajj Ventress attempted to assassinate Quinlan Vos with Morp droids aboard the Titavian IV.
