The Mortar Super Battle Droid was a combat droid used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. The Droid was armed with a Mortar tube and thermal grenades, the droid launched grenades into the designated attack area. This droid was quite effective against shielded and mechanized units, however somewhat ineffective against buildings and non-mechanized units.
