Mosquito droids were small aerial droids used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Lok Durd employed these droids during the Battle of Lanteeb in an attempt to prevent Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi from escaping with knowledge of Durd's new bioweapon.
