Mother Vima was one of the three starships that discovered the planet Naboo in 3,950 BBY. As well as its sister ships, Beneficent Tasia and Constant, it was sponsored by Queen Elsinore den Tasia. The ships were called back into action about fifty years later and departed from Grizmallt in order to return to the Renatasia system and colonize the world of Naboo. Shortly after departure all three ships lost contact with their home world, though it was later discovered that they successfully made it to their destinations.
