Mount Thunderstone was an active volcano on the Forest Moon of Endor. A dark and forbidding place, Thunderstone was home to Morag, the Tulgah witch, who lived in a castle in the mountain until her death in 1.5 BBY. The area was under constant surveillance by Yuzzum guards, many of them mounted in rakazzak beasts.

- Mount Thunderstone may be a reference to the similar Mount Doom, a famous mountain featured in The Lord of the Rings book and film trilogy.
