A mountain was a mass of land that stood significantly above its surroundings. Planets as diverse as Asmeru,[1] Moraband,[2] Serenno,[3] Ryloth,[4] Geonosis,[5] Oba Diah,[6] and Lothal all had mountains.[7] Those of Alderaan[8] and Scipio were capped with snow.[9] A mountain from which lava emerged was referred to as a volcano.[10]
