The Mud-Jumpers were a group of clone troopers attached to the 224th of the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars, a pan-galactic conflict fought between the Galactic Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems. While fighting on the planet Mimban^[1] in the year 22 BBY,^[2] they received a shout-out from the host of the holographic Grand Army of the Republic music broadcast.^[1]

Behind the scenes

The Mud-Jumpers were first mentioned in "Rookies,"^[1] the fifth episode of the canon animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars' first season,^[3] which originally aired on October 24, 2008.^[4]
