Multi-Utility Transport

The Multi-Utility Transport (MUT) was an unarmed and larger version of the Trade Federation Multi-Troop Transport.

The MUT was first seen in the Clone Wars, but a similar-looking model that shared more of a resemblance to the original MTT design (though it had the MUT's "wings") was known to have operated slightly earlier on, as it was encountered by Jedi Master Adi Gallia when she investigated the Trade Federation's presence in the Karthakk system.

The MUT saw action on Raxus Prime, Rhen Var, and Thule during the Dark Reaper Crisis, where they were generally part of large convoys protected by Armored Assault Tanks, Single Trooper Aerial Platforms, and Ground Armored Tanks. They had a very low ground speed, suggesting that they could carry large amounts of cargo but were not very fast when doing so.
