Munin Skirata was a Mandalorian member of Clan Skirata and adoptive father of Kal Skirata.

[edit] Biography

Skirata found Kal (then named Falin) as a very young boy sitting next to the body of his biological father on a battlefield. The boy attacked Skirata with his father's three-sided knife, but Skirata was able to placate the boy. Naming him Kal, the Mando'a word for stab, Skirata adopted him and raised him as a Mandalorian.

Munin is also a raven from Norse mythology who was associated with Odin and brought him news from around the world. He symbolised "memory".
