Murttoc Yine was a male Human who worked as an information broker and a spy during the Galactic Civil War. By the year 4 ABY, he worked at the crime lord Jabba the Hutt's palace on the planet Tatooine. Yine had many nefarious contacts in the criminal underworld, and was the contact point for many individuals seeking employment with Jabba. Yine had brown hair and fair skin.^[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

In 1992, Murttoc Yine was first depicted in an on-set image for the 1983 film Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, which was shown in the second rulebook for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.^[2] Yine did not appear in the film itself.^[3] Yine would be first identified by name in a card for the "Jabba's Palace Limited" expansion set of the Star Wars Customizable Card Game, released in 1998.^[1]
