Museum of Tatooine

From Wookieepedia, the Star Wars wiki.

"Hello and welcome to the Bestine Museum. I hope you enjoy your visit."
―Lilas Dinhint[src]

The Museum of Tatooine was located in Bestine on the planet Tatooine. It prided itself on displaying a full krayt dragon skull, its vast and varied collection of paintings, as well as sculptures of multi-colored glass made from Tatooine's sand. It was advertised in the Tatooine Visitors Bureau brochure.

Around 1 ABY, the Museum was staffed by the curator Lilas Dinhint, who sold an array of artworks to spacers for 48,000 credits each.

During Lilas' time as Museum Curator, the following fifteen paintings were showcased.

[edit] Behind the scenes

This Museum and the curator Lilas Dinhint were part of a quest featured in Star Wars Galaxies. The quest involved players speaking with the NPC Lilas, visiting other artworks, and voting on the painting they'd like to see available from him next. Approximately every 30 days, a new limited use schematic of the most popular painting would be made available from Lilas, which could be used by an architect. Players did not have to vote to purchase the painting.
