The Muurian transport was a light freighter manufactured by Muurian Interstellar.

CharacteristicsEdit

The 30.5 meter long wedge-shaped freighter was designed to compete with CEC's YT series and both designs had comparable speeds, which were fast for a freighter and able to match that of a Lambda-class shuttle or Delta-class DX-9 transport.

While it had a weaker hull and shields than a stock YT-1300, a Muurian transport's shields were still tough enough to withstand a hit from a heavy rocket, and their shields as a whole were considerably stronger than that of a Lambda shuttle or DX-9 transport. It also had a heavier standard armament than the YT-1300 with two double laser cannon turrets, three laser cannons, and two proton torpedo launchers.

HistoryEdit

Because of its armament and defenses, the Muurian transport was used as an assault ship by the Rebel Alliance, rogue Grand Admiral Demetrius Zaarin, and some pirate groups.
