Mycroft was a planet in Fakir sector in the Bakchou Arm.
It was home to the Intergalactic Zoological Society and a branch of the Jedi Exploration Corps.
During the Galactic Civil War, the Galactic Empire established a ship repair and refueling outpost known as Repair station M13 on Mycroft.

Mycroft was the name of Sherlock Holmes' brother from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's fictional works. Mycroft was less widely known than Sherlock; Sherlock himself maintained that Mycroft was the smarter of the two. This was suggested as a possible source for the origin of the planet's name.
