Characteristics
Edit
Mykes closely resembled Humans, with the exception of a fairly pale complexion and facial differences. Their hair was often a shade of black or dark brown, with eye colors typically ranging anywhere from dark blue to dark purple, dark green, dark brown or dark gray. The species had distinctive fleshy "chin tufts" at the sides of their chins, giving them their unique look. Their writing system was similar to the Sith alphabet.
Behind the scenes
Edit
Curtis Saxton, on one of his Star Wars Technical Commentaries pages, has speculated that the fleshy chin tufts seen on Noryn Kim and similar looking characters in comic adaptations (especially those drawn by Edvin Biukovic) signify Sith or Massassi ancestry.[1]
"The Written Word," a hyperspace article, also links their writing system to that of the Sith.
