The myrmecophagidae was a non-sentient creature of Endor.

On one occasion, the Ewok warrior Asha saved a myrmecophagidae trapped by a group of Dulok hunters led by King Gorneesh.

Behind the scenesEdit

In real life, the Myrmecophagidae is a family of mammal species known as an ant eater in Hispanic America^[1], and known as "tamanduá" in Brazil^[2]. Myrmecophagids are native to Central and South America, from southern Mexico to northern Argentina.
