Mytaranor was a planet located in the Mid Rim region of the galaxy. Despite giving its name to the Mytaranor sector, it was not the sector capital, as traditional custom would suggest. Instead, this position was occupied by Randon. Mytaranor was known for being inhabited by many slavers who specialized in the trade of Wookiee slaves from the neighboring Kashyyyk system.
