N'a-kee-tula was an inhabitant of Shadda-Bi-Boran, a planet of which inhabitants were relocated due to the implosion of the system's primary star. According to Padmé Amidala, who assisted in the evacuation, his name means 'sweetheart' in his native tongue. However, the race of N'a-kee-tula died out, as they couldn't adapt to any other planet.
