House Naberrie was a prominent family from Naboo, with many of its members being involved in public service. The most famous member was Padmé Amidala.

The family began with Winama Naberrie, Padmé's grandmother by her father's side. Her son married Jobal Thule, the daughter of Ryoo Thule, and they had two girls, Padmé and Sola Naberrie. Sola married Darred Janren and had two children, Ryoo and Pooja.

After some discussion, Sola and Darred agreed to keep Naberrie the family name, so their daughters' last name was Naberrie.

The family produced two Galactic Senators, Padmé Amidala during the Galactic Republic era (24 BBY—19 BBY) and Pooja Naberrie during the Imperial era (6 BBY—0 BBY), that represented the Chommell Sector.

The family was unaware that they were related to the Skywalker family through Padmé Amidala, who secretly married Anakin Skywalker, until around 36 ABY when Leia Organa Solo met with Pooja Naberrie and revealed the relationship between the two families.^[1]
