Nebula Chaser was a modified thousand-meter long Corellian Engineering Corporation cruiser under the command of Captain Pollux, customized with Hoersch-Kessel Drive, Inc. sublight drives. It had a hammerhead-shaped front.

It was carrying ten thousand refugees from Talfaglio during the Yuuzhan Vong Invasion, and the two Twi'lek Jedi Alema Rar and her sister Numa Rar sneaked aboard to flee the Yuuzhan Vong following the catastrophe on New Plympto. However, the Gift of Anguish intercepted the vessel, releasing a voxyn onto the Nebula Chaser, where it found the two Jedi and spat acid onto Numa's face, killing her soon after. The incident was one of the very first encounters with a voxyn.

The crew was killed for lying to the invaders, and the ship was subsequently used in an attempt to bargain with Leia Organa Solo over information on the location of Eclipse Station. On her refusal, the Nebula Chaser was destroyed along with thousands of refugees.
