The Nebulon 7 quadrant was an area of space around the Yavin system that was under control of the Rebel Alliance in the wake of the Battle of Yavin. The quadrant owed its name to the Nebulon 7, one of the first factions who openly pledged support to the Alliance, in the early days of the Galactic Civil War. The area was saturated with YKL-37R light freighters, what the Rebels called the "Nova Couriers."
