The Nebulon Ranger was the famous Crescent-X9 flown in 4,000 BBY by Human brothers Ulic and Cay Qel-Droma and their Twi'lek companion Tott Doneeta, all of them Jedi Knights. The vessel's drop bay was also modified to hold three airspeeders

[edit] History
The Nebulon Ranger was used to transport the three Jedi Knights to Onderon, a world torn by civil war. There, the vehicle was used during a mission to rescued the kidnapped Onderon princess Galia from the Beast Riders. Unfortunately, the vehicle was shot down by a Beast Rider emplacement and its occupants were forced to continue on foot.
Later, in 3,997 BBY, Cay, Tott Doneeta and Nomi Sunrider used the Ranger during a mission to Empress Teta to rescue Ulic, who had infiltrated the Krath in order to defeat them from within and learn their secrets. During the mission, she used one of the vessel's escape pod's to infiltrate the Krath defenses.
During the Great Sith War, the Ranger saw action. During the Battle of Ossus, Cay Qel-Droma pursued his brother and former Jedi Knight Ulic on the Nebulon Ranger. However, Ulic's starship shot down the Ranger though Cay survived the crash.
The Ranger was presumably destroyed along with almost everything on Ossus's surface by a massive shockwave triggered by the destruction of the nearby Cron Cluster stellar group. The stars' cores had been manipulated by an ancient Sith device onboard the late Sith Lord Naga Sadow's flagship under the command of Krath leader Aleema Keto during the Battle of Kemplex IX.
