The Neimoidian Gunnery Battalion was a Separatist military unit comprised of Neimoidian warriors. The Neimoidian bodyguards of the Separatist Council were part of the Gunnery Battalion.
Members of the Neimoidian Gunnery Battalion wore distinctive bronze armor and carried blaster rifles or battle staffs mass-produced for use during the Clone Wars. Commanders' armor and battle staves were silver, and bore the symbol of the Confederacy of Independent Systems after its formation.
Originally stationed on Neimoidia, the Gunnery Battalion was dispatched to protect the agricultural facilities on the planet Moorja during the war, as the world's frequent ion storms rendered droid armies unusable. Several Neimoidian gunners were stationed at the Separatist stronghold on Mustafar at the end of the Clone Wars.
