Neimoidian ground crewmen oversaw the maintenance, take off, and landing of shuttles and starfighters such as the Sheathipede-class shuttle and Nantex-class territorial defense starfighter.

Behind the scenesEdit

Some fans once thought that one of the Neimoidian ground crewmen was Darth Vader making a cameo appearance in Attack of the Clones because their helmets resembled his somewhat from the back. This was refuted by Ask the Jedi Council's Jocasta Nu when asked if it was him.
