Nell Voorson was the wife of Johan Voorson, the mother of Shannon Voorson and the aunt of Deen Voorson. In 3 ABY she had been promoted to Senior Docking Officer for Kuat Freight Port. When her nephew Deen arrived home and asked her to allow him and the Rebel Alliance to steal a power generator, which she refused to do. In her stead Shannon put together the theft of the power generator and defected to the Rebel Alliance.
