Commander Nemet was the logistics officer for the Avenger and a member of the Line Branch of the Imperial Navy. The commander was considered a fiercely competitive officer. He relayed the scanner information to Captain Lorth Needa. In 3 ABY, Nemet informed Captain Needa that the Millennium Falcon no longer appeared on his scopes.

Behind the scenesEdit

Nemet was played by Mark Jones. In a later scene of Empire Strikes Back, when Admiral Firmus Piett gave the order to ready the tractor beams on the Executor during its attempted capture of the Millennium Falcon, reused footage was shown of the Avenger's crewmen, Nemet included. Since Nemet was part of the command crew of the Avenger, it is unlikely that this was the same character as Nemet.
