Nera Dantels was a female smuggler who, much like Han Solo and Dash Rendar, worked for the Rebel Alliance on a number of occasions. Her ship was the Starduster.

She assisted members of Red Squadron in securing a group of R2-series astromech droids shortly before the Battle of Yavin,[1] and would lead the Alliance ground forces that accompanied Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa on their mission to Jabiim later that year.[2] She had a romantic relationship with Biggs Darklighter before his death at the battle of Yavin.[1]
She later became a member of Dagger Squadron, and participated in the assault on Bannistar Station.
