The Nevoota Bee was an Acclamator-class transgalactic military assault ship that served as part of the naval forces of the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Adapted as a fleet carrier,[5] the vessel was 752 meters in length, 460 meters in width and 183 meters in width,[2] and was equipped with at least two engine units and a ventral hangar bay.[1] In 22 BBY,[6] the Nevoota Bee participated[5] in a financially destructive[6] engagement[5] at the planet[6] Muunilinst, where it transported a complement of 156 V-19 Torrent starfighters[5] against the Confederacy's forces.[6]
Behind the scenes[]
The Nevoota Bee was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the forty-ninth issue of De Agostini's Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon magazine,[5] published around December 9, 2015.[7] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Nevoota Bee was introduced in the second episode of the Star Wars: Clone Wars animated series,[8] which aired on November 10, 2003.[9] It was later identified in The Essential Guide to Warfare, a 2012 reference book authored by Jason Fry and Paul R. Urquhart.[10]
