New Bakstre was a planet in the Cassandran Worlds region.

DescriptionEdit

New Bakstre is located in the New Bakstre system, in the Cassander sector of the Outer Rim Territories. Because of the planet's rapid rotation the system's sun and seven moons moved at visible speed across the purplish sky.^[2]

A 25-kilometer radius of its capital, Havridam City, was destroyed when the Mechanical Liberation Front attempted to free a shipment of Arakyd Industries "brilliant" missiles. During the Outer Rim Sieges of the Clone Wars, Jedi General Traavis led clone forces to war against the CIS on this planet.

At some point during the Galactic Civil War, Roark Garnet and his co-pilot, Hawk Carrow were making an unscheduled delivery to the planet when they were forced down by Imperial Customs cruisers. They crash-landed their ship, the Dorion Discus in a forest, but survived the crash. After a stormtrooper search team wounded and captured Carrow, Garnet attempted to rescue him from the Regina Cayli Imperial transport. Eventually, Roark reached the Imperial transport's infirmary and managed to free Carrow.^[2]
