New Centrif was a city on Naboo which housed a transmitter.

During the Trade Federation's Invasion of Naboo, the city was one of the first targets of OOM-9, in order to destroy a transmitter prior to the Sieges of Naboo.
OOM-9's forces took the settlement with low casualties, and most of its inhabitants were captured or killed.
OOM-9's mission was to destroy the transmitters, because of the fear that they could call reinforcements from Theed. When they finished destroying the 3(three) cities which had these transmitters, the launched an all-out attack on the town of Parlay.
