Nichos Marr was a student at Luke Skywalker's Jedi Praxeum on Yavin 4 and one of the children of the Jedi on Belsavis. He had a birthmark on his right hand, in the V between his thumb and forefinger.

Nichos Marr was a trainee at the Jedi Temple. With the coming of the Great Jedi Purge, he was one of the Children of the Jedi who fled to Plett's Well on Belsavis. He later fled the planet when it was attacked by the Galactic Empire.
He went on to become one of the most brilliant AI programmers at the Magrody Institute. In 11 ABY, he joined the Academy alongside his fiancée Cray Mingla, seeking to be tested for sensitivity in the Force, and soon after died of Quannot's Syndrome.
Cray transferred his life essence into a droid body using forbidden Ssi-ruuk technology. The body had Human eyes, as well as hands molded by the techs at the Biomedical Institute on Coruscant. Unfortunately, as Luke and Cray determined later, Nichos's actual spirit and consciousness were not transferred. He was then merely a droid programmed to be like Nichos. Nichos, the droid, died aboard the Eye of Palpatine alongside Cray (who gave over her body to the then spiritual Callista Ming), when he ran through a defense system which destroyed much of his droid body's systems, giving his life so Luke, and all of the inhabitants of the targeted planet Belsavis, might live.
