Nico Diath was a Human Jedi in the waning years of the Galactic Republic. He was a member of the Diath family that had produced a great number of Jedi Masters.

[edit] Biography
Diath was one of the nomads of the Jedi Order, rarely coming to Coruscant. He roamed the Outer Rim Territories freeing more than a thousand slaves, which was why the Hutts hated him.
During the Clone Wars, Nico Diath was deployed to Queyta with fellow Masters Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jon Antilles, Fay, and Knol Ven'nari. He died in a skirmish with Asajj Ventress and Durge, incinerated when falling rubble knocked him into a wave of lava.
He survived through his nephew and Padawan, Tae Diath, with whom he shared a mental link.
