Night Blades

The Night Blades were a starfighter squadron made up of Jedi pilots flying StealthX fighters, led by Jedi Master Saba Sebatyne.^[1] This was one of the six squadrons which comprised the StealthX wing led by Grand Master Luke Skywalker.^[2]

During the Battle of Kashyyyk, the Night Blades lost three pilots in an unsuccessful attack on the Victory-class Star Destroyer Vulnerator, representing around one-quarter of their combat strength.^[3] They had already lost one other pilot, Tahiri Veila, when she deserted the Jedi before the battle.

When Jaina Solo arrived at Kashyyyk from Ossus, Master Skywalker initially assigned her to Tahiri's position in the Night Blades, but as she insisted on flying with him in the battle, it is not known if her transfer to the unit became permanent.^[4]
