Synopsis
Edit
Wicket W. Warrick and Teebo are learning from master Logray about the powers of the Sunstar when the old Ewok recounts a story of the Wizards of the Night Spirit. Immediately after this, Wicket spots a comet in the sky and convinces Teebo to help him track it to where it has landed. Arriving at the spot, they find a mysterious object and attempt to bring it back to the village. However, during a timely windstorm, the object spins and vaporizes, leaving no proof of its existence. Meanwhile, a Stranger who had used the mysterious object as a spacecraft makes his way to the Dulok Swamp to recruit them in a mission to capture the powerful Sunstar from the Ewok village.
Just as Wicket and his friends arrive back at the village, the Stranger and his Dulok followers attack the village so that the Stranger can steal the Sunstar. As the battle rages, the Stranger succeeds in capturing the powerful object and is able to escape unnoticed except by Wicket and the Ewok children. Wicket leads his companions after the Stranger in an attempt to stop his nefarious plans, but they are outmatched when the Stranger uses the Sunstar to draw the rest of his people, the Wizards of the Night Spirit to the moon's surface. Luckily, Chief Chirpa and his Ewok warriors come to their aid and attack the bizarre creatures. Just as it seems that the Wizards will triumph over the Ewoks, Wicket and his friend Kneesaa a Jari Kintaka are able to harness the power of the Sunstar to reverse the Stranger's actions and expel the Wizards from the forest moon. As the last of the Wizards is forced into space, the Ewoks breathe a sigh of relief, confident that the Wizards will be unable to return.
