Warning: This infobox has missing parameters: flora, routes, otherlife, fauna and unrecognized parameters: hidep, hides, hidea, imageBG Niian was a tropical planet[2] of the Niian system, located within the Thaere sector, in the Expansion Region of the galaxy.[1] In 1 BBY, the smuggler Dannen Lifehold was on the planet doing an errand for his mentor, another smuggler named Twolz. While Lifehold was on the errand, Twolz and his crew were killed by stormtroopers, the elite soldiers of the Galactic Empire.[2] As of 137 ABY, the world fell within the territory of Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire.[3]
Behind the scenes
Niian's only mention, thus far, was in the 1994 short story "Breaking Free: The Adventures of Dannen Lifehold," written by Dave Marron and later published within the Star Wars Adventure Journal 1.
