Nik Hepho was a Britarro male who worked as a bounty hunter specialising in tracking down adherents of the Church of the Force, a religion outlawed by the Galactic Empire. After gaining a reputation of some renown in the Inner Rim and hunting the depths of the planet Coruscant till he considered them empty of targets, Hepho traveled to the moon of Jedha with a listed of suspected members of the church compiled by the Imperial Security Bureau that he had bought on the black market. While on Jedha, he kept his starship the Apostate hovering in orbit under the control of a droid intelligence that he remained in contact with via a backpack mounted long-range transmitter. In the year 0 BBY, he was still in the city shortly before it was destroyed by the Galactic Empire's Death Star superweapon. He had smooth blue skin and green eyes with no hair. While on Jedha he wore a yellow coat over a gray shirt and brown pants, and made use of a metallic headpiece and an A310 rifle with a perforated, air-cooling barrel-shroud.
