Nim was a pudgy Imperial General in the Lightning Battalion.

Two years before the Battle of Yavin, Nim participated in the campaign against the Icarii on Vestar. His troops wiped out the native Icarii species completely. In the end only one of them was left, the sorceress Selestrine. She predicted Nim a sudden and unexpected death that would arrive soon after his victory over her people. Colonel Abal Karda war very pleased about this prediction since he planned to take over the General's position long before and get up to the top of the Imperial chain of command.
Only moments later General Nim visited the Colonel in his quarters and informed him about an offer that was proposed to Karda by Lord Darth Vader who was very pleased about the progress of the Icarii Campaign. Karda was soon to be promoted to General. That was exactly what Selestrine had predicted. There was only one hitch: Vader heard of the only surviving Icarii and claimed the casket that compromised the head of the sorceress for himself. That was why he sent Nim to collect it from Karda. Abal Karda was put in a rage when he heard about that plan and pushed Nim away in full strength. The General stumbled backwards and knocked against a table. A sword fell off it and Nim, unable to grab hold of something, fell directly into the blade. He was killed instantly.
