Grand Moff Nivers was an Imperial governor whose territory included Tandankin in the Gordian Reach. He was thus probably Grand Moff of the Bright Jewel Oversector.

Some time after the Battle of Endor, he personally oversaw the imposition of Imperial authority on Tandankin, but Rogue Squadron attacked his forces minutes after he had subjugated the planet, and when Wedge Antilles managed to destroy Nivers's entire inventory of TIE Fighters, Nivers and his men surrendered, his control of Tandankin thus having lasted less than a day.
