Noga-ta was a male Ithorian Jedi Knight who served the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic a century after the start of the Republic Classic era and the centennial of the Ruusan Reformation.

BiographyEdit

Born on the planet Ithor, Noga-ta was discovered to be Force-sensitive and taken to the Coruscant Jedi Temple for training in the arts of the Jedi Order. A student at the Temple academy when Jedi Master Fae Coven served as Grand Master, Noga-ta was selected as a Padawan went onto pass his Trials of Knighthood, becoming a Jedi Knight. Studying independently for years to become a Jedi Consular, Noga-ta was a skilled diplomat amongst his colleagues and able to engage in relentless negotiations to smooth out the problems of warring civilizations.^[1]

Circa 900 BBY, Noga-ta was dispatched to the war-torn planet Barab I to negotiate peace on the largely unknown world. The devastating Barabel Civil War had drawn the attention of the Council of Reconciliation, a conflict which pitted two warring factions of Barabels against each other for years. Amidst the fighting, Noga-ta hammered through a peace treaty that ended the conflict and brought a calmness to the planet which had not been seen in decades. Jedi Noga-ta's service on Barab I became the stuff of legend, with the story of the "great warrior from beyond the clouds" being passed down form generation to generation through the use of cave paintings and oral recitations.^[1]
