Noma Sommos was an Admiral of the Republic Navy who, along with Jimas Veltraa, commanded Republic forces at the Battle of Taris in the year 3,964 BBY. Sommos was injured in the fighting and sent to a field hospital on Wayland. While there she filed a complaint about the Republic's use of fringers in its naval campaigns.
