Lieutenant Nomo was an officer in the Imperial Starfleet trained in air-traffic control, having graduated in 5 ABY. Just after his graduation, he was posted to Fuel City in Sulon.

He was the officer on duty when Fuel City was nearly destroyed by Kyle Katarn and Jan Ors.
