"The Jedi think of Ilum as their planet. Only two of them were here when we arrived, but they have ruins scattered around the place."
―Grand Moff Regus[src]

The Northern Jedi ruins were located on the Eastern Ice Shelf of the planet Ilum, remains of ancient Jedi structure fallen into disuse by the time of the Galactic War.[1]

HistoryEdit

"The ruins housing Master Kaedan's base are too small for anything but a strike team. And they're surrounded by cliffs full of Duros shocktroopers."
―Grand Moff Regus[src]

During the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, Jedi Master Kaedan and his Duros shock troopers held a base in the Northern Jedi ruins. The base was eventually stormed and Kaedan was killed by the Empire's Wrath, Darth Nox, Cipher Nine, and the Hunter as part of Operation Dark Ice.[2]

Behind the scenesEdit

The Northern Jedi ruins appear as an area on Ilum in the 2011 video game Star Wars: The Old Republic.
