Norun Gep was the Whiphid co-owner of Gep's Grill at Mos Eisley. He met Fillin Ta, his partner, in jail when they were streeturchins. They have remained friends even since.
Usually the two Whiphids get the meat for their business from hunters, but when the hunts have been bad, the local stables have been known to get a visit from two Whiphids. Besides running their grill, the Whiphids also run a small smuggling business that hasn't gained the attention of Jabba the Hutt.
