A flash was a physical ability of Nosaurians, who were native to New Plympto. The flash was a brilliantly bright emission of phosphorescent light from Nosaurians' mouths. The ability was used as a method of communication and signalling among Nosaurian warriors. Bomo Greenbark used his flash ability to contact his comrades on New Plympto soon after encountering Jedi Master Dass Jennir.
