The Nova Prince was a bulk freighter.
History

It was used by the exiles from the Red Nebula, led by Klysk, to transport the mercenaries they had captured on Terminus in order to steal the two crimson jewels from the temple in the Red Nebula. Once they thought they had the jewels, the exiles piloted the Nova Prince into the planet's sun in order to destroy the gems as they thought them to be abominations to cosmic destiny. They did not realize that Han Solo had switched the jewels and the real gems remained on the planet.
