It was located on the Salin Corridor, and was a busy world with large Human and alien populations living in thriving cities. Its capital was Luj City, which was a key financial center of Tharin sector—even though the Novor system itself was in the Periphery. The local corporate offices of Jatayus Outbound were located on the world; so was one of Black Sun Vigo Sprax's villas, built in the Vos'yr Valley.
Novor 23 was located in a system with only 16 planets. The explanation for this is that the system originally had 33 planets, but the 17 innermost planets were destroyed when the system's sun, Novor Major, expanded into its red giant phase.
