Nu Toreena was an Ithorian member of the Galactic Alliance. In 130 ABY, she was a member of the Triumvirate, the organization in charge of the Galactic Alliance government. Unlike her fellow Triumvir Gial Gahan, Toreena was not a supporter of the New Jedi Order, holding the Jedi responsible for the Sith-Imperial War.

BiographyEdit

In 130 ABY, when the Galactic Alliance obtained intel about a meeting on the orbit of Caamas between Emperor Roan Fel and envoys of the Chiss Ascendancy and the Hapes Consortium about a possible alliance, Toreena supported the plans of Rear Admiral Piers Petan of performing an attack with the goal of killing or capturing Emperor Fel. Even though the plan was rejected by Gahan, Admiral Gar Stazi and Jedi Master Kol Skywalker, all of whom suspected a trap, Toreena and Petan convinced the third Triumvir, Bail Antilles to go ahead with the strike.

As it turned out, the information was nothing more than an Imperial bait to lure the Galactic Alliance Defense Fleet into a trap. In the resulting battle, the Galactic Alliance was defeated and then surrendered to the Empire, giving it the opportunity to occupy Coruscant.
