Nudj

Nudj were swamp lizards, native to the swamps of Dagobah.

They were tree nesting reptiles, who favored moist caves and marshes. They were extremely docile despite how fearsome they appeared. They were responsive to Force energy, some even claiming that they added to the Force.

Unlike most Star Wars creatures, they show significant resemblance to an actual species found on Earth. They look like relatives of Earth lizards, because a real lizard was used to portray the species in the movie.
